Give a good account.
It pays to give a good account of events leading up to the fault occuring as well as unusual hapenings in your home,
even if it may not seem relavent to you.
Take the following real case scenario for example:
I was called out to a house where lots of building and plumbing work was going on. The call out fault was explained on the
phone as: "The washing machine will only take in water on a rinse cycle" ( no mention of any plumbing work being done to the
house). Can you see the connection? they did'nt!
As soon as I saw the extent of the plumbing being done, the connection was made.
Some clever plumber had diverted the hot water supply away from the machine!
If the plumbing was mentioned, technical advice could have been
given thereby avoiding the expense of an engineer.
Remember, always give a good account, don't hold anything back!
