FRIDGE FREEZER REPAIRS BRISTOL

CHEAPER THAN FIXED PRICE REPAIRS.

Average repair cost £85.00

American style, side by side, frost free and 50'S retro are all likely to have a fault where the fridge is not cooling or freezer thawing. We can advise you over the telephone before you spend large sums of money repairing it. Call us for some good money saving advice.

Be cautious with fixed price repairs, when our average repair cost is only £85.00, including parts. Sometimes all that is needed is a thermostat or defrost sensor. Ring me with the make and model so that we can establish what is the likely fault and cost.

We are local to Bristol and for many years we have been carrying out top quality fridge freezer repairs in Bristol and surrounding areas. We are small enough to care about my customers while still delivering a quality of service that is beyond the reach of much larger companies.

In general

Fridge freezers are "very good", they do not shake and rattle like washing machines and so have a much longer lifespan. However, they will require inspection, service and repair from time to time.

Other faults

There are many other refrigerator fault symptoms, too many to mention here. If your fault symptom is not mentioned do not be too concerned, it is likely to be on my list. If it is not, my diagnostic techniques will reveal the fault.

Hot tips

Fridges are cold if not wet and damp places. If you find excessive amount of water inside your fridge it is because the drain hole is blocked.

nice pic

Periodically your fridge will shut down. At shut down, ice will thaw. The water will drain out via a tube into a container on top of the compressor where it will evaporate.

The blockage can usually be cleared from within the fridge compartment.

Use something long and flexable, like a very long plastic tie, to insert into the hole which is usually on the ledge at the back of the fridge compartment.
